PITTSBURGH, PA — The annual Heinz Field Kickoff and Rib Festival returns next month after last year's coronavirus-related cancellation. A Pittsburgh staple since 1990, the festival will be held Sept. 2-6 and centered around Art Rooney Avenue adjacent to the stadium.

One of the country's largest rib festivals, the popular event will provide people with family- friendly activities, music and ribs from 15 vendors from across the country. Free musical performances will be provided by acts such as The Clarks, Sun King Warriors, Billy Price, Norm Nardini and the Jimmy Adler Band.

Food and drink will be available for purchase. Fans must purchase tickets in order to enter Heinz Field for the Pitt Panthers game against the University of Massachsetts on Sept. 4 and concerts at nearby State AE. Pre-registration is required for the Steelers 5k Race, Fitness Walk and Kids
Kickoff Run and the Gatorade Junior Training Camp on Sept. 5.
