Heinz Name Returns To Acrisure Stadium

PITTSBURGH, PA — For two decades, the Steelers' home venue was known as Heinz Field. A new naming rights agreement in July changed the name to Acrisure Stadium, but the Heinz name has returned - albeit in a smaller way.

Acrisure Stadium has added the Heinz name above the Gate C entrance across from the Pittsburgh Regional Transit Allegheny light rail station. The Heinz name also is featured as three circular signs positioned around the gate.

The new sponsorship deal with Kraft Heinz, reached in September, included retention of the Heinz Red Zone, with tilting bottles perched by the main scoreboard pouring digital ketchup each time the Steelers get inside an opponent's 20-yard line.

The length and financial terms of the new sponsorship arrangement have not been disclosed.
