PITTSBURGH, PA - The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Historics at Pitt Race, a prelude to next week’s traditional Schenley Park Vintage Grand Prix finale race, occurs on a 2.8-mile track purpose-built track 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

The race promises to provide fierce competition between the legends of the 60s and early 70s, including Mustangs, Corvettes, Jaguars, BMWs, Porsches and Alfa Romeos. Spectators can visit the cars and drivers in the expansive paddock and watch the vintage races. For a donation to charity, you can experience a lap on the track in a race car with a driver or rent a go-kart and reach speeds up to 45 mph on the .82-mile karting track.

Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Historics at Pitt Race takes place July 11-14, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Wampum.
