How Long Will Pittsburgh Heat Wave Last?
Forecasters weigh in on when Pittsburgh can expect some relief from the hot weather.
PITTSBURGH, PA — It's not officially summer for a few weeks yet, but it certainly is going to feel like it over the next several days.
The National Weather Service predicts a warming trend, with a high temperature Wednesday of 84. The high will rise to 88 on Thursday, 91 on Friday and 90 on Saturday.
State College-based AccuWeather predicts even hotter temperatures, with today's high reaching 89 degrees and then escalating to 91 on Thursday, 92 on Friday and 90 on Saturday.

Hotter still are the predictions from The Weather Channel: 87 today, 91 on Thursday, 94 on Friday and 90 on Saturday.
The next chance of rain will occur Saturday, with thunderstorms possible in advance of a cold front. Sunday's high temperature should approach 80. That around the average high temperature in Pittsburgh during the first week of June.
