I-70 Reopens Near Pittsburgh After Serious Accident: Officials

Both directions of Interstate 70 in Westmoreland County were closed Saturday after a woman died in a crash, a report said.

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA — Interstate 70 was closed in both directions near Rostraver Township on Saturday morning following a traffic accident, according to officials.

Both lanes have since reopened, according to PennDOT.

According to a WTAE report, 25-year-old Tori L. Demo died after her Toyota Camry was rear-ended by a Dodge Ram pickup truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the crash, authorities closed the interstate between Exit 46A at Route 51 and Exit 44 (Arnold City) due to the crash.
