Independence Day Fireworks: Where To See Them In Pittsburgh, Western Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH, PA - Although it’s not even Flag Day, plans already are being finalized for Pittsburgh’s annual Independence Day celebration and fireworks.
The daylong July 4 festivities will be held at Point State Park beginning at noon. Musical acts and entertainment start in the afternoon and will end with a 21-gun salute. A United States Air Force flyover visible from all outdoor locations will occur at 6 p.m.
The music lineup is as follows:
Noon: Kardasz Brothers
1:30 p.m.: The Dorals
3 p.m. Jimbo and the Soupbones
4:30 p.m.: Jeff Jimerson and Airborne
6:30 p.m. The Delaneys
8 p.m. The Air National Band of the Northeast
The park’s kid zone will feature patriotic crafts, face painting, airbrush tattoos, gem mining, caricature drawings and interactive activities.
Across the Allegheny River at Heinz Field, there will be food, entertainment and music performances from The Cadillac Three, The Stickers and Tim Litwin. There also will be activities along Art Rooney Avenue. Gates open at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
At the Rivers Casino on the North Shore, No Bad Juju with special guest Chris Jameson ill perform at 7 p.m. as part of the casino's free summer concert series.

- Butler: Big Butler Fairgrounds, dusk.
- Canonsburg: Canon-McMillan High School stadium at dusk.
- Crafton: Crafton Park, dusk.
- Dormont: Dormont Park, dusk
- Monroeville: Monroeville Mall, 9:30 p.m.
- Moon Township: Moon Park, 10 p.m.
- Mt. Lebanon: Mt. Lebanon Park, 9:30 p.m.
- Robinson Township: Burkett Park, dusk.
- Ross Township: Community Center
- Shaler Township: Kiwanis Park, dusk
- Upper St. Clair: Fairview Park, dusk
- West Mifflin: Kennywood Park, 9:30 p.m.
