It's Picklesburgh Time In Pittsburgh

The annual pickle-related festival will occur this weekend. Here are the details.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Picklesburgh is occurring this weekend and its popularity has forced the annual summer festival devoted to all things pickle-related to find a new home.

This year's event is being moved from the Allegheny Riverfront to the Boulevard of the Allies
from Stanwix to Smithfield Street. The event's signature item, the 30-foot Heinz pickle balloon, will float above PPG Plaza.

“With the new location and footprint, we want to ensure we continue to DILL-iver the best Picklesburgh experience as possible for all the pickle-loving masses,” Jeremy Waldrup, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, said in a statement.
