John Shumway Leaving KDKA-AM

PITTSBURGH, PA - KDKA-AM morning show co-host John Shumway is leaving the station after Wednesday's show to concentrate on his work as a general assignment reporter at KDKA-TV. The radio station made the announcement Tuesday.

"John has been the cohost of the KDKA radio morning news for over 15 years," Entercom Radio Pittsburgh senior vice president Michael Spacciapolli said in a statement.

"His tireless work ethic and news judgment has been a cornerstone of KDKA radio mornings. His integrity is unquestionable. Simply put, John is one the most gifted, well-respected journalists in our city. I want to personally thank John for his tireless work over the years with us, it has been an honor to work alongside him."
