The West Mifflin amusement park won't be able to begin the season as originally planned.

WEST MIFFLIN, PA - Kennywood announced Wednesday that it will delay the start of the 2020 season because of the coronavirus outbreak. The season was expected to begin on May 2; the new opening date is unknown.
"While it's too soon to confidently predict an opening date, please know we remain committed to opening Kennywood this summer for you to enjoy as safely as possible," a post on the amusement park's website stated.
Kennywood is extending 2020 season passes through June 2021 at no cost to passholders, who will have the option of extending their 2021 season pass or through December 2021 at a reduced rate.
