PITTSBURGH, PA — As Kennywood prepares for the opening of its 2026 season, it has garnered national attention by being nominated twice for USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.
The West Mifflin amusement park again has been nominated for best amusement park and the Phantom's Revenge has been nominated for the best coaster in the country.
The Phantom's Revenge is the reigning USA Today 10Best champion coaster that will observe its 25th anniversary this season. The coaster provides sends riders on a 232-foot drop and a speed of 85 miles per hour.
