Kennywood Wins National Honors

The amusement park has been recognized by the National Amusement Park Historical Association.

WEST MIFFLIN, PA - Kennywood's season is being delayed because of the coronavirus outbreak, but the amusement park received national recognition over the weekend, taking several honors from the National Amusement Park Historical Association.

The association, which is dedicated to the preservation, documentation and enjoyment of the amusement and theme park industry, named Kennywood the favorite traditional amusement park in its 34th annual members survey.

The Phantom's Revenge was named the favorite steel coaster and the Steel Curtain coaster was named the favorite new attraction.
