Kennywood's Bites And Pints Festival Expands Dates, Food Choices
The amusement park's third annual international food and drink festival kicks off this weekend.
WEST MIFFLIN, PA — Kennywood is expanding its popular Bites and Pints Food & Drink Festival, which kicks off its third season on Friday. Bite-sized food samples and adult beverages every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from June 2 through July 30, as well and July 3 and 4.
Bites and Pints will offer menu items inspired by Brazilian, German, Greek, Irish, Italian, Jamaican, Japanese, Mexican and Polish cuisine. The nine food booths set up around the lagoon. Guests are invited on a culinary journey across the globe without leaving Kennywood as they nosh through the nations.
New eats are being served up this year from the new Brazilian and Irish booths. Irish favorites offered include bangers and mash with onion gravy and beef stew served in a fresh soda bread bowl. Brazilian delicacies are available to try such as piranha steak with sun-dried chimichurri and Cordeiro, grilled lamb chop topped with cassava fries.

Each of the nine booths will offer a variety of alcoholic drinks such as craft beer like shandies and scotch ales, and specialty cocktails including Brazilian Limonada, margaritas and others.
Kennywood also will be serving up a variety of bands inspired by a different nation and its culture on the Garden Stage. Multiple shows will occur each day of the festival.
