Kennywood's Jack Rabbit Having Big 100th Birthday Bash

PITTSBURGH, PA - Kennywood's Jack Rabbit will mark a momentous birthday this year as the venerable wooden coaster with the famous double dip turns 100. It's one of only six existing coasters in the world to reach the century mark, according to the West Mifflin amusement park.

To celebrate the occasion, Kennywood is inviting people to share photos and memories of their Jack Rabbit rides. The amusement park will give free bronze season passes as a prize for park officials' 100 favorite stories and photos.

"We want those vivid details that tug at our heartstrings," a post on Kennywood's website stated. "The more in-depth a story, the more it will make an impression on the judges.
