Kiss, Home Show, Children's Ball Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events

PITTSBURGH, PA - After nearly a half-century of wearing their famous makeup onstage, legendary rockers Kiss have embarked on their "End of the Road" farewell tour, which began in January in Vancouver.
The tour stops here Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.
Expect to hear early classics such as "Detroit Rock City," "Lick It Up," and, of course, "Rock and Roll All Nite." But those who discovered Kiss in the '80s won't be disappointed either, as the band's 20-song set usually includes "I Love It Loud" and "Heaven's on Fire.

- Penguins vs. Nashville Predators, March 29, 7:30 p.m.,; Penguins vs. Carolina Hurricanes, March 31, 5 p.m., PPG Paints Arena.
It’s a hockey double-header on the next-to-last weekend of the NHL season, when every game is important as the Pens jockey for playoff position. The Pens will wear their special third jerseys for the Predators game, and the Penguins Foundation will have a pet supplies collection supporting Humane Animal Rescue.

- UPMC Children’s Ball, March 30, 5 p.m., Heinz Field UPMC East Club Lounge.
At this 23rd annual children’s ball, kids and kids-at-heart can sing, dance, and interact with special guests as Heinz Field transforms into a magical island where dreams come true and time does not exist. There will be fun for the whole family, including strolling performers, food, entertainment, a balloon artist, caricature drawings and more.
- North Hills Home Show, March 29, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; March 30, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and March 31, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wildwood Sports Complex, Hampton.

What would happen if the law of gravity were to suddenly change? Leo attempts to answer that question in a mind-bending, funny and surreal theater work featuring comedy, physical theater, music, sound effects and video projection.
