The Ninth Street strip joint has been a Downtown staple for more than a half-century.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Blush, a Downtown institution for decades and its last surviving gentlemen’s club, has been sold to one of the country’s leading operators of strip joints and sports bars.

RCI Hospitality Holdings Inc. purchased the Ninth Street club for $2.5 million. It also purchased the building housing the 16,000 square-foot club and the connecting building at Ninth Street and Penn Avenue for $5 million. That structure has retail tenants such as Nicky’s Thai Kitchen restaurant.

"We're pleased to have Blush join our portfolio of quality establishments in top metro markets," said Eric Langan, RCI's President & CEO. "Blush is a profitable, cash-flowing number one club in a market that is home to great sports teams, leading universities, and well-established and emerging industries."
