Landmark Pittsburgh Restaurant Up For Sale

This eatery has been serving diners for 75 years.

FOREST HILLS, PA — Drew's Family Restaurant, a staple along Ardmore Boulevard for more than seven decades, is on the market.

The restaurant announced the sale plans on a social media.

"We have, with heavy hears, put the restaurant up for sale," a Facebook post stated.

"We will remain open and ready to serve our customers until we find new owners to pass the torch to. We hope you will continue to support our faithful and hard-working employees as the continue to serve you with the same level of care they have always shown to our customers."

Drew's first opened in 1948. The eatery is known for its breakfasts, fresh ground burgers, soups, pizza and Reuben and fish sandwiches.

According to a Century 21 listing, the asking price for the eatery is $1.5 million.
