Large Pittsburgh Drug Distribution Ring Busted: Police

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh Police Violent Prevention detectives have arrested two men suspected of operating a large drug distribution enterprise.
After obtaining and executing search warrants for a vehicle and a residence located in the 200 block of Stanwix St., Downtown, and a consent search of a second vehicle, detectives recovered $12,000 in cash, a Taurus firearm, seven bricks of heroin, Xanax pills, oxycodone pills, promethazine, marijuana, cocaine, packaging materials, several active cell phones, and paraphernalia.
The total seizure amount was an estimated $49,000.

Kyree Hairston-Mitchell 24, and Mya Bryant, 23, were arrested and charged with multiple felony narcotics-related offenses.

A passenger in one of the vehicles involved in these arrests was also picked up on an extraditable warrant out of Ohio.
