A restaurant and bar that drew clientele from all over the Pittsburgh area is permanently shutting its doors.
HOMESTEAD, PA — An era is ending in the Pittsburgh bar and restaurant scene. Blue Dust, a staple on Amity Street across the railroad tracks from The Waterfront for nearly 15 years, is shutting its doors.
The impending closure was announced on the bar's Facebook page.
"It is with a heavy heart to make this announcement. Sunday Sept. 17th will be the last day Blue Dust will be open," a post stated. "Thank you for all of the years of support. Please stop in and support our staff in our final days of being open."
