Legendary Pittsburgh Pizza Place Opening Second Location
An iconic Pittsburgh pizzeria is expanding into suburbia.
SHALER, PA — One of Pittsburgh's most iconic pizzerias will open a second location Wednesday here. The pizza place is located at the former Pizzarita's on Burchfield Road.
The opening date was announced on social media by Aiello's owners Cathy Aiello-Willis and her husband, Travis Willis.
"As a lifelong resident of Shaler, Cathy remembers her dad, Joe Aiello, always dreaming of owning this location - and when the opportunity arose, Travis and Cathy didn’t hesitate to jump in and make his dream finally come true," a recent Aiello's Facebook post stated.
