Local Entrepreneur Opens Dryer Vent Wizard of Greater Pittsburgh

According to the National Fire Protection Association, more than 15,500 residential fires are sparked in laundry rooms each year and ninety-two percent of reported appliance fires are dryer related, which result from failure to clean the dryer vent. In an effort to make homes safer in the greater Pittsburgh area, Dryer Vent Wizard, North America’s leading dryer maintenance and repair franchise, has recently opened its newest location in Pittsburgh.

A graduate of the Naval Academy and veteran of the Marine Corps, Kirk felt his military background prepared him to execute a franchise well and was attracted to Dryer Vent Wizard’s business model and corporate team. Kirk is actively involved in local charities for veteran activism including Team Red, White & Blue, whose mission is to enrich the lives of American veterans through social and physical activity.
