Luke Bryan Concert, Symphony Shows Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events

PITTSBURGH, PA Country music star and "American Idol" judge Luke Bryan will cap one of the busiest months in Pittsburgh concert history when he brings his What Makes You Country Tour to KeyBank Pavilion on June 30.
"What Makes You Country," Bryan's sixth studio album, was released in December and includes the singles "Light It Up" and "Most People Are Good." Appearing with Bryan will be Sam Hunt and Jon Pardi.
Bryan last performed in Pittsburgh last September at KeyBank Pavilion. His return concludes cap an extremely active June for the local concert scene with Kenny Chesney, the Dave Matthews Band, Slayer, Journey and Def Leppard, Hall and Oates and Train and Foreigner also having performed.

- Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, June 30, 8:10 p.m., South Park Amphitheater; July 1, 8: 15 p.m., Hartwood Acres Amphitheater.
Conductor Manfred Honeck and the symphony won a Grammy for best orchestral performance in January for their recording of "Shostakovich: Symphony No. 5; Barber: Adagio." Engineer Mark Donahue also won a Grammy best engineered album, classical, for the same recording. No doubt this award-winning orchestra will draw large crowds to these two Allegheny County parks.
The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra parks concerts are free.
- Sewickley Night Mart, June 29, 6 p.m., Beaver Street from Broad Street to Chestnut Street, Sewickley.
The outdoor street festival features vendors selling homemade items, a live performance from Dream Machine, the annual Adirondack chair auction, fare from Sewickley restaurants, food trucks and activities and crafts for kids.
The Sewickley Night Mart is free.
- Serbfest, July 1, noon-7 p.m. American Serbian Club, Sarah Street, South Side
This first-ever event, hosted by the tristate committee of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, will feature ethnic food and drink and a full bar. The will be indoor and outdoor entertainment and seating.
Serbfest is free.
