PITTSBURGH, PA - Less than 18 months after his fatal drug overdose, Mac Miller has a posthumous album coming out. "Circles" will be released on Jan. 17, his family announced Wednesday on his official Instagram account.

"Circles" will be a companion piece to "Swimming," which was released about a month before Miller overdosed in September 2018. The Los Angeles County Examiner-Coroner later determined that McCormick died of mixed drug toxicity involving fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.

Miller, who was 26 when he died, grew up in Point Breeze and attended Taylor Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill.
