Major Pittsburgh Restaurant Chain Closing Locations
A Pittsburgh-based restaurant chain is closing multiple locations. Get the details here.
PITTSBURGH, PA — One of Pittsburgh's most popular restaurant chains has closed two of its local locations.
Primanti Bros. has shuttered its restaurants in Monroeville and North Versailles. No reason was given for the shutdowns.
The closures follow the February shutdowns of two of its eastern Pennsylvania locations in Camp Hill and Lancaster.

Those closures came after the June 2025 closure of the Primanti Bros. on Penn Ave. in Garfield. One of the chain's two Morgantown restaurants near the West Virginia University campus closed in August.
The other Primanti Bros. locations within Pittsburgh city limits are in Downtown in Market Square; the Strip District; Oakland on the University of Pittsburgh campus and on the South Side on East Carson Street.

According to its website, the chain also has multiple locations in suburban Pittsburgh as well as in Ohio, Maryland and Florida.
