Man Arrested In Penn Hills Bar Shooting That Killed 2
A man has been charged with killing one of two people shot to death last month in a Penn Hills tavern. Seven others were wounded.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A man has been arrested in connection with last month's shooting at a Penn Hills bar that left two people dead and seven others wounded.
Allegheny County police said Monday that Chaz Jackson, 42, of Pittsburgh, was working as an armed security guard at Ballers Hookah and Lounge on Laketon Road in the early morning hours of June 2. Police say he killed one of the shooting victims, Stephanie Stuart, 28, of McKeesport, and wounded another person.
Jackson is facing multiple charges that include homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person. He is being housed at the Allegheny County Jail.

Nathan Smiley, 44, of Pittsburgh, also died during the altercation at the bar in which police said multiple people apparently opened fire. No one has been charged yet with killing him.
The other shooting victims were treated and released at area hospitals.
