Man Charged With Trying To Kill 3 Pittsburgh-Area Police Officers
A man faces multiple charges in connection with a shooting incident involving three Pittsburgh-area law enforcement agents.

STOWE TOWNSHIP, PA — A man faces nearly two dozen charges after being arrested for attempting to kill three police officers.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry's office said her agents, along with Allegheny County police and other local law enforcement officers, have apprehended Bruce Harvard, 24. He was wanted for shooting at the trio of officers in Stowe last year.
In raiding a Spring Street residence and arresting Harvard, police also recovered:

- A stolen Springfield XDS .45 caliber pistol.
- Seven bricks of heroin/fentanyl.
- 5.5 grams of crack cocaine.
- $985 in cash.
Harvard has been arraigned on 23 charges, including three counts of criminal attempted murder, numerous felony counts of aggravated assault, and other charges, stemming from the February 2023 incident.
Harvard was jailed due to his threat to the community, according to the district judge who conducted arraignment.

Eric Durah, 25, also is charged in the incident. The men allegedly shot at officers who were attempting to conduct a vehicle stop in Stowe. According to Henry's office, the attempted murder charges regard a McKees Rock Police Officer and two Attorney General Office agents.
The investigation continues into who else was involved in the shooting incident.
