Man Dies In Pittsburgh Hit-And-Run Incident

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man is dead after an apparent hit-and-run incident late Wednesday.
At approximately 10:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Davis Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue in Brighton Heights for reports of an injured person lying in the roadway.
Responders located an man in the street with significant trauma to the head. Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim in critical condition to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The preliminary investigation indicates the injuries are consistent with those of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. No vehicle remained at the scene.
