PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating the shooting of a man found in a city parking lot early Wednesday.

Around 12:45 a.m., police were dispatched to the 7200 block of Kelly Street in Homewood South for a ShotSpotter alert totaling four rounds.

Upon arrival, officers located a man in a parking lot with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS paramedics administered a whole blood in the field transfusion and transported the victim, who was alert and conscious, to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene and recovered two shell casings.
