Man Killed In Pittsburgh-Area Hit-And-Run
A man died early Friday after being hit by a vehicle in a Pittsburgh suburb.
KENNEDY TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are searching for the person who struck and killed a man early Friday and then fled the scene.
Allegheny County Police said a Kennedy Township police officer who was on patrol found a man down on Pine Hollow Road shortly after midnight. The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as Wayne McGinley, 72, of McKees Rocks.

Investigators now are working to determine the make and model of the vehicle that struck him.
