Man Killed, Teen Wounded In Suburban Pittsburgh Shooting

Police are investigating a deadly shooting that also left a teenager seriously injured.

PENN HILLS, PA — A man was killed and a teenage boy was critically wounded early Tuesday in a shooting inside a Penn Hills home.

According to Allegheny County police, the incident occurred inside a residence in the 100 block of Keefer Drive shortly after 2 a.m.

County 911 first was notified of a shooting in the 200 block of Anthon Drive. First responders found a 17-year-old teen who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police then were notified of a second victim inside the Keefer Drive home. An 18-year-old man was found shot to death inside.

Police believe the teen who was wounded was shot in the home as well and somehow made it to Keefer Drive, about a block away.

Rifle and handgun casings were found inside the home, but the weapons used in the incident were not located.

County police are continuing to investigate.
