Man Shot In Downtown Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was shot late Wednesday at the Greyhound bus station in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Shortly after 11 p.m., police were called to the station at 11th Street and Penn Avenue. Officers located a man who had gotten off a bus from New York and was trying to get into a waiting vehicle. There was some type of altercation with the occupants, whom he didn't know.
The victim was shot in the foot and medics transported him to an area hospital in stable condition. The suspects fled the area and the vehicle later was located unoccupied in Butler. It was towed by the auto squad for processing.
