Man Shot Outside Of Popular Pittsburgh Tavern

The shooting occurred early Monday, police said.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was wounded early Monday in a shooting that occurred outside of a well-known Bloomfield bar.

Responding to a ShotSpotter alert for multiple rounds of gunfire shortly after 2 a.m., city police found a man with a gunshot wound to his trunk in the 600 block of South Millvale near Sonny's Tavern. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing. No suspects have been identified.
