PITTSBURGH, PA —Police are investigating the near-fatal stabbing of man in Market Square overnight.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., officers were sent to the 100 block of Forbes Avenue following reports of an unresponsive male on the street.
The victim suffered stab wounds to the head and lower back area. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition. He since has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Police are looking for two suspects who fled the area in a dark-colored SUV.
