Man Wounded In Shooting Outside Pittsburgh Bar

The shooting occurred late Thursday night, police said.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was wounded Thursday evening in a shooting outside of a Pittsburgh bar in the city's Marshall-Shadeland section.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said police officers responded to a 911 call for shots Just before 11:45 p.m. Officers were unable to locate any victims until a second 911 call reported a man was shot outside of Young Brothers bar.

Officers then located a man who would not show them his injuries and initially refused medical treatment. Police and EMS personnel persuaded him to go to the hospital after medics located a graze wound to his leg.

The man was taken to the hospital and was reported in stable condition.

Mobile Crime Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene.
