Manager-Employee Altercation At Pittsburgh-Area Business Turns Deadly

PITTSBURGH, PA β An altercation between an employee and his manager turned deadly in Springdale Township on Wednesday.
According to Allegheny County Police, shortly after 5 p.m. county 911 was notified of a shooting at Oaks Towing in the 200 block of School Street.
First responders found a man shot multiple times. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Christopher Ashbaugh, 53.
According to police, preliminary information shows a verbal argument escalated into a physical confrontation Ashbaugh and the employee.

During the altercation , the suspect shot Ashbaugh mulitple times.
Although police said everyone involved has been identified, the name of the shooter was not immediately released.
Detectives will consult with the county district attorneyβs office for a charging decision. It's unclear if the shooter currently is in custody.
