Man's Body Discovered Behind Former Pittsburgh Supermarket

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at the site of a recently closed Pittsburgh grocery store.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man's body was discovered Monday night underneath a trailer behind the recently closed Shop 'n Save in Carrick.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said police were called to the location at Amanda and Wynoka streets just after 8 p.m. and found a man dead at the scene. The location is behind the former Shop 'n Save fronting Brownsville Road.

The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
