Marty Griffin Leaves KDKA-TV
The veteran news reporter also hosts a talk show on KDKA-AM radio.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Marty Griffin has left KDKA - sort of. The veteran news reporter departed KDKA-TV at the end of July, but will retain his morning talk show on KDKA-AM radio.
A KDKA-TV official confirmed Griffin’s departure from the station’s news programming to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She told the newspaper that Griffin left to pursue another opportunity.
The website for a new start-up company, Sparkt, lists Griffin as a member of its team. Sparkt is a “next generation social media company where good stories point to good deeds.” The company says it is staffed by “a passionate team of professional journalists, creators, producers, designers, and community advocates who are fired up and eager to ignite change.”
