"Mean Girls," Vince Gill Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events

PITTSBURGH, PA - “Mean Girls” revolves around Cady Heron adjusting to the vicious ways of her strange new home in suburban Illinois. The naïve newbie falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.
Direct from Broadway, "Mean Girls" is the hit musical from an award-winning creative team, including book writer Tina Fey ("30 Rock"), composer Jeff Richmond ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"), lyricist Nell Benjamin ("Legally Blonde") and director Casey Nicholaw ("The Book of Mormon").
You can catch “Mean Girls” at the Benedum Center, Downtown, on Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.; Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

He’s been touring as one of the Eagles in recent years, but Gill leaves the rest of the birds behind for this solo show. one of the most celebrated country artists of all-time, Gill has sold more than r 24 million albums throughout his career and has won 20 Grammy Awards - more than any other male country artist in history.
- EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler, Nov. 2 8 a.m. Station Square.
This one-of-a-kind race will take runners through 10 miles of Pittsburgh’s history, fandom, and quirkiest traditions. Each mile along the course will feature a different Pittsburgh tradition, icon, or staple, and among the 4,500 expected participants will be local video star Pittsburgh Dad and former Steeler Chris Hoke.
- Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts, Nov. 3, 1 p.m. Heinz Field
