Missing Pittsburgh Amber Alert Toddler Found Dead
The child's body was found three days after her abduction.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Authorities on Tuesday found the body of abducted Penn Hills toddler Nalani Johnson in Blairsville, Indiana County. The body of the two-year-old girl was found in Pine Ridge Park.
An autopsy on the child is scheduled for Wednesday.
The discovery of the body came mere hours after police revealed Nalani's father and the woman accused of kidnapping her over the weekend were romantically involved. Allegheny County Police Superintendent Coleman McDonough also disclosed that Sharena Nancy had an argument with a friend of the father, Paul Johnson, just prior to Nancy driving off with the girl.

McDonough also said police have no reason to believe the accuracy of Nancy's contention that the father sold the child to a woman she met on the roadside near a Monroeville gas station.
"On behalf of the men and women of the Allegheny County Police Department, I extend my deepest sympathies to the family of Nalani Johnson. We are grateful to you for your cooperation and support during the investigation," McDonough said.

"We would be remiss if we didn’t also thank all of the members of the public who submitted tips, as well as the concerned citizens and first responders who volunteered their time to assist in the search. Thank you for your caring and commitment."
Nancy is being held in the Allegheny County Jail after being charged with kidnapping of a minor, interference with custody of children and concealment of whereabouts of a child. Additional charges could be pending.
