Monster Truck Jam, Speed Dating Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events
Here's your Patch guide to the coolest weekend events around town.

PITTSBURGH, PA - February traditionally is a slow month for entertaining events around town. Outdoor activities obviously are out for the most part, few musical acts tour this part of the country in the winter and many people are socially hibernating until spring.
If you are looking to get out of the house this weekend, you might want to check out the Monster Truck Jam at PPG Paints Arena.
The family-friendly experience stars the biggest performers on four wheels: Monster Jam Trucks, Monster Jam Speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs. These 12-feet-tall, 10,000 pound machines will bring you to your feet, racing and ripping up a custom-designed track full of obstacles to soar over or smash through.
