More Coronavirus Deaths Reported In Allegheny County
Here are the latest coronavirus case number for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA —There were three new coronavirus deaths in southwestern Pennsylvania on Tuesday. The Allegheny County death toll rose by one to 177, the county health department announced.
But no new coronavirus cases were reported. The number during the outbreak in the county remains at 2,113
Today’s report of no new cases of COVID-19 does not reflect the real-time spread of the coronavirus in the county, health department officials said It often takes two to three days for labs to report new positive cases. Officials emphasize that the risk of infection has not subsided.

Three hundred and fifty-eight people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. There was one new hospitalization on Tuesday.
With 613 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 493 in Westmoreland County, 260 in Butler County and 156 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,635.

According to the state Department of Health, 310 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and seventy-seven in Allegheny County, 77 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and six in Washington County.
