Mother's Day 2018: Pittsburgh-Area Brunch Options

PITTSBURGH, PA - With Mother's Day rapidly approaching, it's not too soon to begin planning how to make the day special for the woman who brought you into the world. A number of western Pennsylvania restaurants are offering brunches and menu specials for mothers who stop in on May 14.

Will offer a three-course prix fixe brunch menu from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner will be served from 3 to 5 p.m. with a special a la carte menu.

Jazz brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. $49 adults, $15 children or enjoy exceptional seafood and prime steaks from the dinner menu, available from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Capital Grille, Downtown

Serving a prix-fixe brunch and endless mimosas. Enjoy the executive chef's take on classic brunch dishes such as pan-seared salmon with citrus crab salad.

With shrimp cocktail, crab legs, filet mignon, ham, lamb, oysters, a made-to-order omelet station, bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys, Mom will surely know how much she is appreciated.

Mother's Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., adults $42, kids $18 and children under 6 free. Enjoy a variety of brunch stations, including made-to-order omelets, carved meats and a decadent dessert table.

Special ala carte Mother's Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring Italian-inspired breakfast and lunch items, as well as a Bloody Mary bar.

Brunch from the chef's table is $25 per person! Enjoy an intimate setting with fine dining and bottomless mimosas for only $15. Seating is limited.

• The Terrace Room, Downtown

Celebrate Mother's Day with us at Omni William Penn Hotel in the Terrace Room. Adults $49, children 6-12, $19, children 5 and under are free. Seating available every half hour from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Mother's Day a la carte brunch features fresh eggs, coach's favorites, sustainable seafood and Linz Heritage Angus steaks, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Full dinner menu from 3 p.m. to closing.

Opening early at 10 a.m., offering prime rib all day long.
