Motorcyclist Dies After Crash In Pittsburgh's Bluff Neighborhood

Pittsburgh police said the crash happened Wednesday night just outside of Mercy Hospital.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A motorcyclist died Wednesday night following a crash near Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh's Bluff neighborhood, authorities said.

Pittsburgh police were called to the Boulevard of the Allies and Marion Street just outside the hospital after a car collided with a motorcycle. A second vehicle was also struck during the crash, police said.

First responders aided the man driving the motorcycle before taking him to the hospital for treatment.

The man later died from his injuries, police said. No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
