Mt. Washington Drinking & Dining Scene Gets New Addition
The long-anticipated Steel Mill Saloon on Mt. Washington's Grandview Avenue has finally opened.
PITTSBURGH, PA — After several years of construction delays, the long-awaited Steel Mill Saloon has opened on Mt. Washington's Grandview Avenue. The bar and restaurant announced its debut and unveiled its menu Friday on social media.
The saloon is located on Grandview Avenue across from the Duquesne Incline at the intersection of Grandview and Oneida Street. Longtime Mt. Washington residents will remember the space formerly housing The Hut, but the building housing that long-closed neighborhood bar has been completely renovated and expanded over the past several years.
