National Margarita Day: Where To Celebrate Around Pittsburgh

Plenty of places around town are offering specials on the drink to help you mark the occasion.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Who says there’s nothing much exciting about February except Valentine’s Day? Friday is National Margarita Day, a time to celebrate the fantastic cocktail even if you’re not a Jimmy Buffet fan.

To help you celebrate, here’s a list of places offering National Margarita Day deals. Promotions can vary by locations, so call your local restaurant before stopping by for a little tequila, a little salt and a little lime.

  • Applebee’s: No specific margarita special, but the drink special of the month isn’t bad: a $1 hurricane with rum, passion fruit, orange and black cherry and lime flavor.
  • Bahama Breeze: You can celebrate National Margarita Day on Feb. 21 and 22 with $2.22 classic margaritas.
  • Chili’s: On Friday, you can get the Cuervo Blue Margarita, Tropical Sunrise Margarita and Blueberry & Pineapple Margarita for $5. Not only that, but all month long you can get the limited time $5 Grand Romance Margarita featuring Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Grand Marnier, Fresh Sour and Pomegranate.
  • Mad Mex: House margarita specials on Feb. 22 include 12-ounce margaritas for $3, 15-ounce margaritas for $5 and 22-ounce margaritas for $7.
  • Max & Erma’s: Offering $2 margaritas and $1 chips and salsa all day Friday.
  • McCormick & Schmick’s: The Friday happy hour special will be $6 Gold Margaritas.
