Nationally Renowned Pittsburgh Chef Opening New Eatery

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two-time James Beard Award finalist pastry chef Casey Renee is opening a storefront bakery on South Braddock Avenue in Regent Square.

Confections will debut on April 11, with hours on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 8 a.m.-4p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

The bakery cafe will serve an array of seasonally flavored scones, garlic cheddar biscuits, vegan blueberry muffins, house-made French macarons, and more.

“We are super excited to be able to offer our treats on a daily basis for walk-in customers and will have breakfast pastries, desserts and fresh coffee from Redstart Roasters,” Confections owner Casey Renee said. “We will also continue to expand our vegan and gluten free offerings.”
