Netflix's 'Mindhunter' To Cast Extras In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Netflix series "Mindhunter" will be casting extras in town on Sept. 5. No experience in acting is needed and the background actors will be paid, according to the casting website.

The open casting call will occur from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Wigle Whiskey on Spring Garden Avenue on the North Side.

The show is primarily filmed in and around the Pittsburgh-area. Season 1 premiered, in its totality, in October 2017.

"Mindhunter" is a crime and drama series about the early days of criminal profiling at the FBI. Agents delve into the psychology of notorious, incarcerated serial killers to try and predict the actions of active suspects. The series stars Jonathan Groff, Anna Torv and Holt McCallany.
