New Coffee Shop & Tap House Coming To Pittsburgh Area
The establishment will be located near trails and could offer outdoor amenities such as a dog park.
MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, PA — A new coffee shop and tap house is coming to the Regional Industrial Development Park's Innovation Ridge.
RIDC has sold a 2.9-acre site in the 223-acre advanced technology and office park to Apres Property Company, which plans to build a 4,300 square-foot Apres Roasters on the property.
Apres Roasters will be in an area of the park near Interstate 79 and Route 19. The location will enable it to tie into the Knob Hill Park trail system, and the size of the property will allow for some outdoor amenities, such as a dog park.

Apres Property says the establishment is expected to have 15-to-20 employees and expects the project will inject more than $800,000 annually into local economy via wages and tax revenue.
“Après Roasters will be a tangible amenity for companies at both Innovation Ridge and RIDC’s nearby Thorn Hill Industrial Park,” said Matthew Gillepsie, Apres Roasters developer and owner. “We live in the community, view this as a legacy asset, and want to be a long-term partner in the continued growth of Marshall Township.”

Said RIDC President Donald F. Smith Jr.: “As this area continues to thrive with both residential and commercial development growing the community, high-quality amenities like Après Roasters – creating new jobs and contributing to the community’s economy – should be a welcome addition.”
An estimated opening date for Apres Roasters has not been announced.
