New Coronavirus Death In Allegheny County
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — There was one new coronavirus death in Allegheny County on Monday, the county health department announced on Tuesday. The death toll in the county during the outbreak now stands at 152.
The number of coronavirus cases in the county climbed to 1,928, up from 1,912 on Monday and 1,911 on Sunday.
Three hundred and forty-four people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. That's up from 340 on Monday.

With 589 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 447 in Westmoreland County, 229 in Butler County and 139 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,332. That's up from 3,316 on Monday and 3,315 on Sunday.
According to the state Department of Health, 280 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and fifty-two in Allegheny County, 73 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and five in Washington County. There were no new deaths on Monday.
