New Coronavirus Death In Allegheny County, New Cases Reported
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — There was one new coronavirus death reported in Allegheny County on Monday, the county health department announced. The county death toll now stands at 179.
A day after the county reported 45 new coronavirus cases - the most in a single day since early May - 19 new cases were reported. The number during the outbreak now stands at 2,239.
Three hundred and seventy people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. There were five new hospitalizations on Monday.

With 625 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 546 in Westmoreland County, 271 in Butler County and 168 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the
five-county southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,849.
According to the state Department of Health, 313 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and seventy-nine in Allegheny County, 77 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 13 in Butler County and six in Washington County.
