New Downtown Pittsburgh Restaurant Debuts

PITTSBURGH, PA — The city's Downtown Cultural District has a new restaurant. Scarpino has opened in the former Ten Penny space on Penn Avenue.
The Italian-themed eatery's menu features pizza, pasta, salads and small plates. The initial opening hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The restaurant is owned by the AMPD Group that operated Ten Penny. The locally-based restaurant group also operates Foxtail, Local and Delanie's Coffee on the South Side and Social House, Downtown.
